The event is free for spectators, and it’s encouraged to come watch! Hop on over after work and check it out and stay for as little or as long as you like! Children are welcome and usually have a blast, just remember to bring earplugs for them as it can get a bit loud with the sweet sweet sounds of engines and tires. There is even an open time for anyone to drive the track at slow speeds to see the track layout around ~6PM. If you miss the event, I am sure some of us will be uploading videos later to YouTube. My video content will be added to this page after the event is complete.
Pacific Raceways is a 2.25-mile 9-turn road course with a long history of SCCA events including being a part of the SCCA Trans Am schedule in the 60s and 70s. The track offers spectacular vantage points for those off track, and a challenging layout for those on the track.

I gave a new product a try to avoid needing to get race gas. - I’ve been buying 92 octane gas at the pump, typically at shell. My goal in the focus as a high compression car is around 98-100 octane unleaded.
I’ve bee adding this fuel additive, and the results have looked good based on canbus data. I’ll continue testing this summer and decide it this is the best path forward.
